JP Morgan H&Q, a division of Chase Securities - Investment Banking -  Researched and prepared analysis of capital funding opportunities for privatization of prisons, interactive media, Internet service providers, and intralata telecommunications.

John F. Kennedy University - Researched and prepared analysis and recommendations of universities’ marketing positioning, alumni services mix, and methods of increasing alumni and community support.

Pacific Union Company - Researched and co-wrote marketing plan for Santa Lucia Preserve, formerly, Rancho San Carlos, a 20,000 acre, $2 billion luxury residential real estate project. 

Siemens Business Communications Systems, Inc. - Marketing research study of stakeholders to determine their access and delivery requirements for distribution of Siemens collateral materials in parallel with print-on-demand.

SmartBusiness SuperSite - Internet Resources Editor for SuperSite, a business resources portal. Over 500 hours reviewing business web sites.

Design Company -  New Business Development Manager - Developed and implemented new business development strategy, tactics, and tools for acquiring Fortune 500 clients for branding and corporate identity programs using D&B databases and call center technologies.

UPS Air - Assembled team for the initial presentation to UPS of proposal for all-cargo airline, which evolved to the present worldwide fleet of UPS cargo jets.

Whole Earth Network - Coordinated project to research business customers’ needs for high speed communications services, and developed customer needs-identification program for marketing T1 and T3 high speed connections services.

Internet Applications Development

Alabama - For a $400 million private holding company in Alabama , managed development of more than 25 web sites featuring consolidated financial reporting dashboards, IT services management, multimedia plant tours, process documentation, and an array of additional enterprise resource management tools.

Carmel Valley Real Estate - Designed, built and optimized a site to promote the sale of $7,000,000 of pristine Carmel Valley real estate surrounded by parks.

Kenwood Depot - Designed, photographed, built, optimized this extensive community service club’s site.

Ranchweb - Managed redesign of look-and-feel of this international directory of ranch vacations site. Managed marketing and search engine optimization campaign for six affiliated sites, resulting in first page placement of site on all major search engines for dozens of key terms.

Russel Lee Real Estate - Designed, built, optimized this Sonoma county real estate firm’s site.

The Preserve at Park City - Developed internet marketing strategy and oversaw development of web presence for $20,000,000 luxury real estate development in Park City, Utah .

Early Stage Companies

Edison Innovations, Inc. - Developed process for using the web to generate intellectual property.

Alternative Network Television, Inc. - Researched and developed concept, formed alliance with major studio for 300 station television movie network.  Attracted $1 million venture capital.

Champion Presentation Theaters - Researched, designed, and prepared plans for $10 million high-tech facility of six theaters, each with a television studio for real-time satellite broadcasting of educational programs and global conferencing capabilities for corporate users and community education and arts groups.  Raised research and development venture capital.

Character Education Program -   Researched and developed funding strategy for national roll-out of a middle school pilot program that over five years raised academic test scores in the school from 28/32 to 1st/32.

Metaview Corporation - Research and business planning for venture capital funding for telecommunicating VCR’s and electronic TV guide for automatic recording of television shows selected based on personal preferences, using an artificial intelligence program.

ProgramKey Company - Developed concept and raised capital for ProgramKey, a first-of-its-kind visual aid to assist in understanding the command structure of complex computer software. First product was completed in 1985 for WordStar, the then dominant word processing program.

StarGuardian Partners - Packaged animated children’s television series for development, including management team, concept, character bible, and pilot script.  Show was developed to entertain, as well as promote character and environmentally-positive behavior.

San Francisco Business Times - Contributing Small Business columnist. Columns focused on business plans, marketing, public relations, software applications, strategic planning.

The WELL - Hosted the world’s first entrepreneur’s online conference for ten years.
